Her story

With a background in Architecture and Civil Engineering, Annie has spent nearly 20 years working in the design-build-development world. Questioning the true impacts of her work she discovered the real value design plays - it has the power to heal. Beauty softens grief and when we design beautiful spaces and places with intention they push back on the hardness of the world. She believes whole-heartedly that we can build a better world through inspired design and intentional planning - together.

Annie grew up spending time on the farm in the garden with her grandmother and the wood shop with her grandfather, in a rural community with numerous cousins, and at home with her parents and friends in the city. It’s no wonder that she fell in-love with dreaming, nature, and community. Connecting dots about the world around her and how it impacts quality of life began at an early age, providing a deep knowing that she wanted to be an architect or community planner.

Throughout her career she worked as a general contractor designing and building custom residential homes, a project coordinator working on large-scale multi-use redevelopment projects, and as a site designer primarily for private development. In 2018, she began designing her dream real estate development project, discovering a deeper ancestral legacy along the way. With a long line of planners, designers, and builders rooted in her DNA she forged ahead.

Today she is designing beautiful spaces where she able and hopes to inspire others to follow their dreams too. Whatever a dream coming true means to you - a dream kitchen, house, renovation, relationship, career, or experience - it’s what we discover on journey there that makes them beautiful. The lessons that give us growth. Design is about intention and it affects all aspects of life, not just the built world.
